Return/Exchange Policy and Warranty
We want our customers to be 100% satisfied and work hard to deliver high-quality leather goods. However, it may happen you don't like our product. If that's the case, you can contact us within 14 days from the delivery, and we'll take it back for a full refund. But please be sure the item respects our refund conditions. We are unable to accept items without original packaging and attached tags. Items that have been used, washed, rigged, or got dirt are also not accepted. Please, for further information read the underlying section RETURN (REFUND).
Before returning your item, please read this page carefully.
*IMPORTANT: embroidered/engraved customized products can be returned only for a credit to spend on our site, not for a money refund. With this credit, you can purchase a new item on Pellein. You can return standard, non-customized products for both credit and money refund at your choice.
We are unable to accept returns for Tailor-made, Oversize tailor-made, customized, or made-to-order products (art. 5 comma 3 lettera c del D.Lgs. 185 del 22/05/99). Pellein still wants you to be happy with our products. Thus, if you have a small request or you want to modify your item, we are happy to help. Contact us to find out whether the change you want has additional costs or can be done for free.
WARRANTY
Pellein produces its items with care and high-quality materials . Thus, we feel confident in offering you a convenient return policy and warranty.
Any Pellein item comes with a producer warranty. In the case of a manufacturing defect, we are happy to repair your product for free, whether it satisfies warranty terms and conditions.
Before processing, all requests will be examined by our warranty and quality support team. Our team will value whether the damage is a manufacturing defect or not. If it isn't a manufacturing defect, contact us anyway, we are happy to help you at the best of our possibilities.
100-Year-Warranty Terms And Conditions
1. The warranty is valid for manufacturing defects only and does not apply to damages caused by improper use, abuse, negligence, third parties work/alterations, or ordinary wear.
2. Good care of our products: if you own one of our vegetable tanned leather products, be sure to protect it from raindrops using a water protectant, and condition it at least once a year. Chrome-tanned leather items, instead, should be conditioned every 12 to 18 months.
3. In case the item is been anyway altered, including engraved, modified, or repaired, by a third party, we will consider it out of warranty/ not covered by our repair service.
Producer warranty does not apply to:
discoloring due to chemical products' exposition, make-up, sun, ordinary wear, or improper use.
Please note that the following may be possible features of the item and can't be seen as defects:
- small irregularities and variations of handmade work.
- specific characteristics of leather and accessories.
RETURNS
You can return your item to Pellein both for a refund or a size exchange (customizations excluded). Just fill our returns form and include a copy of your order with the reason for your exchange/return in the package.
For a quick, easy return process, be sure to select the right return option and to fill all the required fields in the form . We are not able to process your request without all the needed information.
After submitting the return form, you will receive a confirmation email at your address. Please note we will process your return request according to the information sent online.
Before shipping, pack your items carefully. We suggest you shipping with tracking. Pellein is not accountable for the loss or breakage of your items during the ship.
Return shipping is free in Italy (if you chose our free tag service), but we ask you to cover the shipping costs in all other countries worldwide. The free return shipping promo applies to the first return only.

Our return department will process your return within 2-4 working days from its delivery. Please note that before processing the return, all items will be examined by our warranty and quality support team. Once our team has examined and accepted the item, refunds will be made to the payment method you indicated in the form.

Before returning your item for an exchange or a refund, Please carefully read the information below.
RETURN (REFUND)
To have a full refund, your return must respect all the following conditions:
- The item has not been worn and it does not show any sign of usage , including but not limited to scratches, spots, or other flaws.
- The item's original seal is intact and has not been removed.
- The item must be sent back with the original packaging and all accessories (tag, hanger, etc.).
- The item has not been altered .
- The item is not a customized or made-to-order product .
- The item has been returned to Pellein within 14 days after the delivery .
We will make your refund to the payment method you indicated in the form . Please note that, depending on your card or bank account, it may take until 10 days to show your refund on your account.

Items that received a shop credit can be returned for another shop credit only, not for a money refund. Shop credit can not be converted into money, transferred to another person/account, or used for other services, like expressed shipping or tailor-made items.
SIZE CHANGE/ PRODUCT EXCHANGE
Pellein is happy to change the size of your jacket/ exchange your item. We are unable, though, to exchange/ change the size of customized/ made-to-order products (special orders that have been produced according to the customer's directives/tastes).
To return a product to change its size, fill the return form, and follow the procedure. Free shipping applies only to the first size change.

The exchange process usually requires 3/4 working days but may take till 10 working days.
