Our stylists studied the union between the turtle neck and the double closure with a central zipper and hidden-button placket to guarantee you the best heat and comfort. Depending on the weather, you can choose to wear the collar half-opened or close it both with the zipper and the buttons, or the zip only. Indeed, the double closure helps keep the heat in and the cold air out. Our closure zip in brushed metal color iron is made in Italy. The sliced 5 chain, thanks to its shape, gives greater tensile strength, ensuring high wear resistance. A down jacked with hand-stitched quilts

An essential element of Carl to keep the body heat is the fine diamond quilts on the sleeves and chest of the jacket. Thanks to its consistent weaving, stitching helps keep and uniformly distribute the heat created by the valtherm padding. The down jacket’s quilt is hand-stitched by our expert tailors. A refined, detail-oriented job, you will hardly find anywhere else.

Inner small pockets

Inside Carl, you will find two small pockets, a breast pocket with a zip, and a leather one. There you can place your essential accessories, like your wallet and keys, safely. A leather jacket designed for the winter season

The jacket inside is padded with Valtherm 180gr. Valtherm is a special wadding structured by million of hive cells forming an inside air chamber. Thanks to this technology, this fine material is breathable, light, and offers excellent thermal insulation. Producing our jackets with this wadding, we can produce winter premium quality leather down jackets.

Real lamb Nappa leather with monochromatic smooth effect

To produce this tie, we chose premium, chromo-tanned, full-grain lamb Nappa leather with monochromatic smooth effect, exclusively produced for Pellein. Nappa is a refined leather type proceeds from full-grain lamb leather, standing out for its premium quality and softness. Its natural process (aniline) does not alter leather naturalness. Traits on the leather surface, like wrinkles or veining, are not to be considered defects. Indeed, they are distinguishing features of leather genuineness, which enhances leather beauty and excellence. They distinguish full-grain leather from low-quality leather and synthetic leather, covered with artificial products (polyurethane - plastic). The monochromatic, smooth effect derives from the aniline process. The process does not change leather genuineness, guaranteeing its natural color and softness. Our leather is entirely processed in Solofra, one of the most refined lamb leather tannery poles. Thanks to its long and accurate traditional handmade process, Solofra stands out worldwide as the Italian pride for leather processing. Thus, we can fully guarantee the premium quality of our leather jackets.
